Antigua and Barbuda shares the Eastern Caribbean dollar (EC$) with other countries of the Leeward and Windward Islands.  The EC$ is one of the strongest currencies in the Caribbean at a fixed rate EC$2.70 = US$1.  Antigua and Barbuda welcomes foreign investment and provides a hospitable environment and generous incentives to encourage such investment.
